How You Can Help
Here’s how you can invest in our children and our community.
Donate to support the current work of Safe Passage and our future goals.
We work hard to ensure people have access to the resources they need. Last year, Safe Passage helped 373 families. Every day we see more and more families that need the services and support available through our resource center.
As funding streams have decreased, we’ve cut back or eliminated vital programs such as
Our Get Set for Kindergarten class, for children who’ve never been to preschool
Tutors to assist homeless and inadequately housed students who’ve fallen behind in school because of frequent absences
Tutors to work with second grade English language learners who are struggling academically
A support group for fathers
Donations can be made through PayPal (see button at bottom of page) or mailed to Safe Passage, P.O. Box 1718, Fort Bragg, CA 95437.
Contribute to our rental assistance fund
Rents are high; wages are low. Did you know that 59% of renters in Mendocino County spend more than 30% of their income on housing? Over 1/3 of County residents are renters. By preventing a family from eviction, you give parents a bit of breathing room as they work to stabilize their living situation. Your donation to our rental assistance fund helps us bring hope to struggling families.
